I tuned in last night and seen that Ted was stood up at the alter and the woman left him for another man and a child?

Ted’s been seeing Sarah Chalk (can’t remember her character’s name) she’s a doctor with a daughter who lives in Brooklyn. His friends all liked her but they didn’t like that he was going to move to Brooklyn to be with her (even Ted had a lot of trouble with giving up his life in the city.) He finally came to terms with it though and was all set to marry her…
Barney realized he had feelings for Robin. He put them aside though because he didn’t think it would ever work out between them. He never told her though. The only person who knows how he feels is Lily.
Robin had moved to Japan to take a news job over there but ended up quitting because it wasn’t the job she thought it was.
Nothing really new with Lily and Marshall- i think he got a new job but they were having a lot of trouble moving out of Ted’s apt and into their house… can’t remember if they went through with it or not.
Okay, so the day of the wedding: Sarah Chalke flips out that Ted invited Robin to the wedding, she didn’t understand that they were just friends. The reason she apparently was so disturbed by this is that she is still in love with her ex-boyfriend (the baby daddy)! She ends up leaving Ted to go off with him (in the episode you saw.)
